Overview
As the result of a handshake agreement between Japanese automakers, some cars were significantly underrated in terms of their horsepower. One victim of this policy was the Nissan Skyline GT-R R34, which was very conservatively rated at 276 horsepower, though independent tests show its raw power is somewhere in the neighborhood of 327 ponies.
