Lamborghini Murcielago LP640
Overview
Launched at the 2006 Geneva Motor Show as Lamborghini’s newest halo car, the Murcielago LP640 came with minor exterior changes and increased performance, along with a new name. The ‘LP’ stands for ‘Longitudinale Posteriore’ or ‘Rear Longitudional’, referring to the engine’s placement, and ‘640’ referring to its output, which Lamborghini listed at 640PS, or 631 horsepower.
