Dodge Challenger Concept
Overview
Unveiled in 2006, the Dodge Challenger concept had the styling cues of other Dodges of its day shoehorned into a retro-styled exterior, as it was built on a modified version of the ‘LX’ platform which meant it shared a chassis with the Dodge Charger sedan, Dodge Magnum wagon and Chrysler 300 sedan, as well as Dodge’s trademark ‘crosshair’ grill. The classic Challenger lines remained, and when the car entered production in 2008, the crosshair was removed from the grille, restoring the snarling ‘70s beast we all remember and love.
